# Clean Water Week begins 9/13/2026

Cape Cod Clean Water Week is a a regional event dedicated to protecting our water. Hosted by the [Barnstable County Clean Water Center](https://www.capecod.gov/clean-water-center/?ref=santuitpond.org), this annual event brings together residents, visitors, scientists, policymakers, non-profits, pond groups, land trusts, students, and more to raise awareness about water quality issues while inspiring meaningful action.

Throughout the week, attendees can participate in a range of activities at the Clean Water Center and at partner sites, including educational workshops, guided nature walks, panel discussions, art exhibits, and volunteer clean-up efforts. Experts share insights on innovative solutions—from sustainable septic systems to watershed restoration—while community members learn practical ways to reduce their environmental impact at home.
